| This is a photo of John Rackham as an apprentice in the Main Works Motor Test bed Office in about 1954. John is easily recognisable at the right hand end with dear old Ross Rackham, the DC Motor Manager, in the centre. I'm in the picture at the extreme left hand end. The names of some of the others are David Storey,( right rear) and Eric Woods to his left. I cannot remember the names of the others. I worked at LSE from 1953 until 1966 when I transferred to our sister Company PPD in Kingsbury North London as the Engineering Manager. I left PPD in 1973. I've been working in Asia since 1989 for Control Techniques Asia Pacific, as VP and now as a part-time Consultant based at Control Techniques in Thailand. If John or any of the others read this I would love to hear from them. |
